Who we are
Elena and Alessandro, as known as Elettrona and Gifter. We met on line at the beginning of 2019 and now are in a deep, long-lasting friendship.
What to expect
We write about HIV stigma in an unconventional way: we publish fictional stories set in the Positive (Poz) World and maintain the “real-world” blog with personal experiences, entertainment suggestions, and true stories.
The site was originally built in Italian so we can’t guarantee simultaneous translations of every post and every story in a short time.

Bugdom town and university
Bugdom is the fake town where the Positive (Poz) World’s characters live and develop.
The university, International Bugdom University Of Life (IBUOL) with its Campus is the main aggregation point for all of them, as its research center is the place where IBUOL’s scientists have managed to grow an HIV virus capable of human feelings.
Bugdom Talks
News, Gossip, Politics and unsolved misteries: Bugdom’s administration attempts to discontinue the service by its censorship power, as Bugdom Talks is the only newspaper readable by humans and viruses, so the University offered its help to maintain this resource alive.
Poz Tales
Poz Tales: HIV-satirical reinterpretation of some famous fairy tales and TV characters. If the telling of fairy tales has changed along with society over the centuries, why not make them understandable by young viruses as well?

Traditional Family 01: Arvil Grant
REAL WORLD: we’ve recovered. We both had to deal with some health issues which were a huge challenge for us. Nothing serious, but you can’t pretend to live normally and post on your blog as if nothing had happened while you’re not feeling well. But let’s stop with our bullshit, after the interview with Trump,…
Real World: our personal blog
This is the place where we share experiences and reflections especially related to HIV or empowerment of women and LGBT+ people with or without disabilities.
Rather than our personal lives we give attention to real stories we have learned about, advice on what to read or listen to, and events we attend online or in-person.

Social media: sadness moment
Mainstream social media? We left them as we didn’t feel comfortable any longer.
-
Victim: a song against performative empathy
We often condemn performative activism on this blog, when people support a social cause just for visibility. But we appreciate it even more when an artist expresses our same opinion about the subject, because they’re much more implicated in this mechanism than we are.

Real or fiction?
Real or fiction? Generative models can help creativity if used with conscience. But abuse is right around the corner.

Blog interview? Respect our terms!
Interviewing us? Perfect. Avoid stereotypical narrative about HIV and disability. Thanks.

Nothing about us without us
If you define yourself an activist you should take this rule as your mission: nothing about us without us.
Social networks
Follow us on the Fediverse, a decentralized social network service mostly free, open source and without any annoying algorithm who decides what you have to see following its creator’s rules.
Be master of your Internet surfing, decide yourself what you need to see! – we are actively involved on Fediverse.
Get in touch with us clicking the “follow” button below; a pop-up will show up asking further instructions.
Only issue we currently have is not being able to separate English from Italian contents in our Fediverse account. At the worst, skip whatever article you don’t understand. or use regular RSS feeds just for English.
